Product Description

The StarEFX panel adds a stunning starry light feature while benefiting the sound acoustics. Fitted to the ceiling or walls with 6 screws the acoustic panels shimmer a white light or with the optional controller colour-changing shimmering stars. The StarEFX sky can be brought into an environment with a simple installation process for an amazing display, a great feature when entertaining or needing extra acoustic enhancement to a room or space.

A low voltage cable is used to connect the modular panels in a daisy chain configuration, up to 25 panels can be connected from one power supply. When connected to power in standalone mode, the StarEFX panel displays a random pattern of shimmering white fibre optic stars. The optional controller activates the RGBW for colour selection, colours can be selected with the wireless RF remote control.

Applications and use

Each panel has its own light source that supplies light to the randomly patterned fibre optic stars. As standard, the fibres shimmer white in colour while the optional control module allows users to select different colours. It is possible to cut the panels to size using a sharp box cutter, no fibres need to be lost as they're simply pulled out from the panel, with the bent part of the fiber cut and re-inserted back into the panel.

This type of panel is ideal for use in noisy environments or when sound needs to be controlled for a better listening experience.

Operation

A power outlet is required for the 12V power supply that powers the first panel. For additional panels, the cable link provided on each panel is used to create a daisy chain connection. With either standalone or controller modes up to 25 panels can be connected from the one power supply.

Coloured stars starry effect - Controller mode

Standalone mode A straightforward setup where the panels operate in a simple on/off mode displaying white shimmering starlights. Additionally to the power supply, a wall switch will be required to turn on/off the starlights.

Controller mode (optional) When the controller module is connected it allows for colour selections and two program modes to be selected via the RF wireless remote. Even though the power can be turned on/off via the wireless remote, a wall switch can also be installed for added convenience.
