HDCP 2.2 is the new copy-protection standard for many modern source devices and streaming services, such as Netflix. This box is perfect for playing your HDCP2.2 content through your HDCP1.4 equipment!
TVs must be HDCP 2.2 enabled to play content and everything in the video chain (including switches & receivers) must be compliant as well.
If you have HDCP 1.4 equipment, you'll need a HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 converter to display content!
